Well... it is always better to be higher (1 wavelength or higher), but how high one can afford just depends on many parameters at work.

This station is not attended at all times. So,  although there is space to put 60 to 80 feet permanent tower, i had to plan for small profile base tower and tilt/pullover mast above it. All construction of tower done a t nearby village welding workshop with some guidance. Base tower is 25 feet from foundation and masts can be raised upto 45-50 feet in total. I had make such base support arrangement because we don't have concrete terrace or modern house to support the mast on the roof. And then as little gun, why not call it as tower?. There are some design improvements required, but for now, i will try to maximize the returns for this height.

Current tower base structure is on the north side of the house and it has clear path to contest directions.
